Harlem School of the Arts


The Harlem School of the Arts offers a summer of fun in the arts for children ages 4-12. ARTScape Summer Day Camp is an arts experience like no other. Campers enjoy a variety of classes in four different art forms: music, dance, theatre, and art and design.

Weekly trips to NYC’s cultural destinations and afternoon swimming highlight the three two-week sessions. Each session culminates with a performance for campers’ families and friends.

Youth & Teen Summer Programs at The New School


The Parsons Pre-College Academy provides diverse classes and certificate options for students in grades 3 through 12. High school juniors, seniors, and recent graduates can work directly with leading faculty and develop their skills and portfolio. A wide selection of courses is offered on subjects including animation, fashion, graphic design, interior design, drawing, painting, cartooning, photography, and portfolio development. 

The Mannes Prep Summer Chamber Intensive is perfect for young musicians searching for a uniquely personalized musical experience within a nurturing community. Students are grouped into chamber ensembles for the week and participate in daily chamber coachings, sight-reading classes, master classes and workshops, and jam sessions with members of Mannes Prep’s outstanding and inspiring faculty. The week culminates in a student performance open to family, friends, and the public.

Gowanus Music Club


Keep rocking into the summer! Gowanus Music Club camps—led by Josh Margolis (executive director), Tracy Bonham (Grammy-nominated artist), Sara Landeau (the Julie Ruin), and John Wlaysewski (Late Cambrian)—are a great way to keep your skills sharp and explore all aspects of being a gigging and recording musician. Days run from 10:00am to 3:00pm at Battalion Studios in Gowanus (adjacent to Whole Foods). After a quick meet and greet on Monday, you'll immediately start getting gig-ready for a performance for your friends and family the following Friday. You will also be recording at The Bridge Studio midweek with renowned engineer/producer Amon. Performances are held at the legendary Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2 in the East Village, NYC. Two 5-day rock camp sessions are available; please visit the website for a schedule. Imagine Works Youth Theatre - Camp Imagine


Imagine Works Youth Theatre's hit summer camp, Camp Imagine, is back at the Off-Broadway Players Theatre. Camp Imagine is a performance intensive day camp for tweens and teens ages 11-18. Students focus on fundamental skills in voice, drama, and dance during hour-long classes each morning.

Camp Imagine is great for new and experienced performers. Campers are placed in groups based on age and experience to allow all kids to learn at their own level. Class sizes are small so that every camper receives one-on-one attention from instructors. At the end of the session, campers perform a Broadway musical on a professional, 200-seat Off-Broadway stage.

LA Voice Camp


LA Voice Camp is an a cappella kids choir and summer camp. At LAVC, talented young singers of all ages are exposed to the very best vocal training, encouraged in their passion for singing, and empowered to find their voice. Campers will:

  • Learn some a-ca-awesome music (think Pentatonix, Pitch Perfect, and contemporary musical theater like Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen).
  • Sing at amazing places including Disneyland.
  • Record in a professional recording studio and film a high quality music video with professional direction and choreography.
  • Make new friends who share a love for singing.
  • Learn crucial singer skills like vocal technique and music theory.

Rising Star Children's Musical Theatre Troupe


Rising Star Summer Camps are for kids who want to have fun and experience the excitement of being on stage in a musical. At Rising Star, performers of all levels—beginner and advanced—have a place. Four camp sessions are offered:

Little Stars (ages 4-6): Choose from two one-week sessions—Fairy Tale Week or Classic Musical Theater.

Lucky Stars (ages 7-10): This two-week sesion ends with three performances of Mary Poppins Jr.

Rising Stars (ages 10-16): This three-week session ends with three performances of Anything Goes.

Voice Academy NYC - Camp


Voice Academy NYC offers a 2-week summer camp for ages 7-19, where campers of any style and any level are welcome. The coaches are Broadway professionals and recording artists. Students will learn breath and vocal technique, song performance with live mic, and songwriting, and camp ends on a high note with a final showcase for parents and friends. Voice Academy NYC was voted #1 Best Kids Singing School by Time Out New York Kids.

Students are given the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the world of music technology, learning how to collaborate, create, and perform with their music using the latest technology. Set in a brand-new teaching facility in downtown Manhattan, 343 Labs boasts some of the most experienced instructors in the industry that inspire students to create the music they're passionate about. Students will learn to write and perform their own songs and learn how music technology is shaping the future of the artistic process.
