Weekend Fun for Boston Kids: Celtic Music Fest and Cardboard Explosion, January 9-10
Submitted by Kip Wilson Rechea on

With the kids back in school and the first snow on the ground, it's finally beginning to feel like a typical ice-cold January in Boston. But that doesn't mean it's time to hibernate! With indoor events celebrating Celtic music (pictured), energy sabers, and cardboard, as well as tons of outdoor winter fun on the trails and walkways, there's no reason to stay home.
Free activities this weekend guaranteed to please the whole family include the annual Snowflake Festival and JCC's Winter Wonderland Family Fun Day.
Finally, if you're in the market for a summer camp or school for this fall, keep an eye out for open houses as they start to fill up the Event Calendar.
