It's the first Friday of the month, and you know what that means—First Friday festivities are in full swing! Head to downtown Eustis for a First Friday street party or check out the delicious food trucks at Downtown Clermont’s First Friday event. This weekend also marks the start of several exciting fall activities, including Club Lake Plantation’s Fall Festival, Boo at the Brevard Zoo, and the family-favorite show Junie B. Jones in BOO… and I Mean It! at Orlando Family Stage. For those who crave a little more thrill, don’t miss spooky experiences like A Petrified Forest and The Haunting of River Ranch. October has arrived, and with it come the last weekends of Oktoberfests and the first weekends of Halloween happenings. You can do a little of each with Oktoberfest events in Naperville, North Center, and Beverly and pumpkin-themed parties in Niles, Schaumburg, and Highwood. Or try to figure out what Halloween candy you're going to hand out at Hershey Super Sweet Adventure!

Our harvest has come in this weekend, and it is bringing a bounty of autumnal activities. Underwood Farms opens its annual Fall Harvest Festival with a "Friends of the Farm" themed weekend. Bavarian family-friendly fun takes over the south bay at the Locale 90254 Oktoberfest in Hermosa Beach. And Nights of the Jack lights the path to Halloween fun with thousands of hand-carved jack o'lanterns.
