From 2010 until today, Plato Learning has remained steadfast in its quest to turn stories over to the imaginations of young people who infuse them with energy, power, and ingenuity, reminding us all how and why we fall in love with reading.

Summer Camps
Summers at Plato Learning camps are packed to the brim with magic, play, and adventure. The summer programs, Camp Half-Blood and The Double-Daring Camp for Girls, will serve over 1,500 families this year alone.

After-School Programs
Plato Learning's school-based workshops for students in grades 1-5 aim to unlock children’s passion and creativity, inviting them to become inspired by stories from mythology through classic literature and contemporary favorites.

School Break Programs
School’s out? Plato Learning is in! They pack a lot of fun and energy into their school break programs. After all, where else can heroes get strength for those long scholastic journeys?

Mitchell Spearman Golf Academy offers top-notch golf instruction in a fun and goal-oriented environment all summer long. Sign up by the week for Summer Golf Camp (ages 6-16) and special pee wee camps (ages 4-7).

Summer golf camp is an opportunity for junior golfers of all ages to greatly improve their game. This is one of the most popular summer golf camps in New York. Mitchell Spearman’s camp experience is designed to build or improve on existing skills quickly. Small groups and a refined curriculum aid in the training process.

Students are divided into groups of similar skill, ability, and age that enable fast-paced learning in a fun, safe, and effective environment. Camp covers all aspects of the game: full swing, pitching, chipping, and putting. Each golfer has his/her swing viewed and analyzed by Top-100 Instructor Mitchell Spearman. Each golf camp experience covers skills from the fundamentals right up through advanced course management.

The Coastal Ocean Science Academy connects youth to local coastal habitats and the factors that shape them through authentic research experiences. Based at the Northeastern University Marine Science Center, the one-week middle school and two-week high school programs include trips to field sites around the North Shore, both on and off the water. Scholarships are available to eligible families. Students entering grades 4 to 9 can participate in Summer Life on Campus, ideal for parents looking for a full-day camp that offers academic and recreational activities.

Camp Lango—the signature summer program of Lango Kids—combines all the fun of traditional summertime activities with all the rigor of a Spanish or Mandarin immersion language program. Led by a talented teaching staff, students learn through a variety of creative exercises (e.g. crafts, music, yoga, and dance) and cultural explorations of the Spanish or Mandarin-speaking world. 

The target language is taught through a fun and engaging weekly theme. This summer’s weekly themes include Science and Robots, A Visit to Spain, Legends of China, Splish Splash Water and Bubble Play, and Diving into the Blue World. The specially designed language camp curriculum is guaranteed to boost your child’s new language ability, preparing them for an ever-globalized world all while having crazy amounts of fun!

School of Rock Roslyn’s music camps and workshops are designed to bring out the best performance in a fast-paced learning environment. Just like their standard programs, their camps offer a high-energy experience that is fun, creative, and team-oriented. Students learn music by playing it with their peers, guided by experienced instructors from the music community.
