The Paint Place offers weekly summer art camp with activities including painting, drawing, working with multimedia, a bit of art history, and even a few park visits to sketch outside. Kids will learn a lot about art and also enjoy the opportunity to explore their artistic talents in many ways. Camp runs Monday through Thursday, 10 AM-2 PM.

Noel Pointer Foundation - Summer Strings Program

The Noel Pointer Foundation offers music enrichment and instruction during the month of July for kids and teens ages 4 to 16 of all skill levels. Choose from violin, viola, cello, bass, piano and guitar.

Each week, students work with their ensemble groups on recital pieces based on their skill level Monday through Thursday, attend a master's class Thursday afternoon, and go on a field trip on Friday. The program culminates in a final recital (held on August 3, 2018) where students showcase all that they have learned over the summer.

The program runs from 9 AM-3 PM July 2nd through August 3rd, 2018. Extended day and early drop-off is available (8:30 AM-5 PM) and offers free DJ class and music composition workshops.

Ivy Seed STEM Summer Camp

Ivy Seed STEM Camp is an app development day camp that takes place at MIT and Harvard’s campuses in Cambridge, MA. The mission is to run a program that is both stimulating and fun for campers, so that each morning they can’t wait to get to camp to see what awaits them.

At the end of each week, campers are expected to have made demonstrable progress while having a great time and being led by dedicated and engaging expert instructors.

The day camps consist of 1-week sessions that meet Monday through Friday from 9 AM-4 PM daily.

2018 sessions:

  • July 9-13, ages 10-13, Harvard—includes a half-day field trip.
  • July 16-20, ages 13-17, Harvard—includes a half-day field trip.
  • July 23-27, ages 10-15, Harvard—includes a half-day field trip.
  • July 30-August 3, ages 8-11, MIT—mix with international campers. 
  • August 6-10, ages 10-15, MIT—mix with international campers.

Le Petite Theater Ballet

Le Petite Theater Ballet is a ballet school program teaching classical ballet to children ages 2 and 3 years old in a theater style. Each class is a theater experience including story time, music, and costumes; every class is a new ballet. Come dance with Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Coppelia, and more!

Two weeklong sessions are offered in the summer. Classes run Monday through Friday and are between 40 and 45 minutes long. Please visit the website for a full schedule.
