The New Vic's Kids Weeks are back... and better than ever! Taught by New Victory Teaching Artists in the beautiful New 42nd Street Studios, our Kids Weeks offer the flexibility to customize your kids' performing arts experiences based on their personalities and interests. Every one-week, interactive learning experience for kids ages 7-11 focuses on a different type of performing art form. This April, kids will have the chance to try their hands at circus skills; in July, there are sessions in the worlds of theater, musical theater and circus. Each week, kids will have the opportunity to see a professional live performance and share their new-found skills in a special showcase of their own at the end of the week!

Center for Architecture K-12 Programs

Explore architecture and design year-round at the Center for Architecture in Greenwich Village! During the school year, check out our Family Programs, Teen Workshops, and Vacation Programs. In the Summer, check out one of our many Summer Programs.

Family Programs take place one Saturday a month at the Center for Architecture. These two-hour programs introduce families to architecture and design through hands-on art and model building activities, gallery tours, and design challenges.

Teen Workshops take place one Saturday a month. These full day programs are for high school students interested in learning more about the city’s built environment and developing their architectural design skills.

Vacation Programs are offered during mid-winter and spring vacations. These programs give curious kids an opportunity to dive into an architectural topic of interest and test out their own design ideas. Each program explores a different theme through design challenges and building activities.

Summer Programs give students entering grades 3-12 a chance to develop their own architectural designs and models. Summer programs are five days long with each week focusing on a different topic. These programs combine hands-on art and building projects with one-of-a-kind trips to notable buildings, parks, and architectural sites. Activities include drawing, 3-D model making, interior design, city planning, computer design, "green" design projects, and intensive two-week Architectural Design Studios for high school students.

Trail Blazers Camp

Trailblazer's Summer Outdoor Adventure Camp is the second oldest American Camping Association-accredited program and the first to provide environmental education Campers ages 7-17 unplug from the city and experience the unique thrill of our 1000 forested acres in Sussex County, NJ – no smartphones or tablets here!

Campers live in rustic canvas shelters, swim and fish in Lake Mashipacong, and complete a multi-day backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail or on the Delaware River. In our specialty climbing program, campers learn to scale natural rock after learning the basics with local experts. Teens are invited to challenge themselves and develop their leadership skills in either the biking intensive, the canoeing intensive or UOS Leadership programs. The STEM in the City Summer Camp

A STEM Career and College Awareness Experience for Rising 8th and 9th Graders July 6-10, 2015 Each day of this fun and innovative camp features both an excursion to a Boston-area company, organization, or field site that highlights a variety of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) disciplines and a related classroom lab activity. In addition, campers will begin to explore college life and academics through campus tours and discussions with college students and staff. Your child will explore a variety of subjects in a relaxed and creative setting that allows them to develop and strengthen their interest in STEM fields while building bonds with their peers. Home base for STEM in the City Summer Camp is the Department of Mathematics and Science on Wheelock College's Boston campus. Campers will meet at Wheelock and be introduced to a STEM topic.

Got Game Camp

Calling campers of all ages and skill levels to join the Got Game Camp! Enjoy fun, action-packed camp weeks full of sports, arts, sciences, games, imaginative projects, and the most popular trends among kids. Compete in sports tournaments, or collaborate within a team setting to create a vlog or produce a talent show! Got Game caters to all types of kids, of all skill levels and interests, and offers a program unlike any other, allowing campers different options throughout the day to have a blast playing with their friends and exploring new interests.

Campers have the chance to let loose and have fun in age-appropriate divisions and activities. Each day is broken up into different rotations, where campers can choose between an ACTIVE, CREATIVE, or GAME activity option ranging in all sorts of different activities. So no matter what your camper('s) enjoy, there's something for everyone at Got Game! Campers are placed in divisions based on their age during structured activities, and led by an extremely talented staff comprised of PE teachers, After School site directors, coaches, and specific activity instructors.

Got Game Camp's motto is "We Speak Kid", and the coaches have endless enthusiasm and an innate ability to keep campers engaged through a fun and competitive spirit. Coaches make sure each day is new and exciting, and campers come back wanting more.
