Multicultural Festivals, Railroad Day, and More Things To Do in Chicago This Weekend With Kids
Submitted by Maureen Wilkey on
Looking for the best things to do in Chicago this weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your list for this weekend!
This is a great weekend to celebrate your heritage or the heritage of your neighborhood in Chicago. Celebrate different cultures with a Swedish festival in Andersonville, a Puerto Rican Festival in Humboldt Park, or a multicultural festival in Warrenville.
Or celebrate history with Old Canal Days in Lockport, Laura Ingalls Wilder Day in Aurora, or Railroad Day at Franklin Park Fest. Sporty families can take a bike ride together after watching the pros at the Elmhurst Cycling Classic.
We've got a calendar of the best fun things to do in June, and the best free things all summer! We also want to wish a happy Pride Month to all who celebrate with our list of family-friendly pride events this month in Chicago.
Have a great weekend in Chicago!
