Free Day at the Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits

Tue Feb 7, 2012
9:30am to 5:00pm PT
3 and up
Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits

Families can enjoy one of the world’s most famous fossil sites, recognized for having the largest and most diverse collection of extinct Ice Age plants and animals in the world—not to mention the bubbling pool of tar that trapped them all.

The Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits offers free admission on the first Tuesday of each month, except in July and August, and every Tuesday in September.

LA County residents also receive free admission Mondays through Fridays from 3-5pm (with a valid ID or utility bill).

Parking:  $9, ($2 returned with validation from the museum).

(If you choose to find street parking, be VERY careful about parking on Wilshire. Cars parked on Wilshire from 7-9 a.m. and 4-7 p.m. M-F will be TOWED, even if you are at a meter!)

Check out other free museum days in LA and OC.
