Russian School of Mathematics

RSM is an award-winning  after school math enrichment program trusted by parents for over 25 years across 75+ locations in North America. Its unique approach consists of a continuous kindergarten to high-school curriculum, taught by expert teachers, in a classroom environment of peers who study together year over year. K-12 students can choose from various classes to prepare them for the school year, math competition courses for additional challenges, or test prep courses.

Designed as a continuous program from K-12, the curriculum was developed by our team of academics specializing in mathematics, education, and child development. The curriculum has continually been perfected by our curriculum department over the last two decades.Recently featured in NPR and the Atlantic magazine as one of the key players in the “Math Revolution,” and ranked one of the best schools in the world by the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, RSM helps children of all levels build a solid math foundation and develop their critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.  By guiding our students to derive new concepts based on those they learned before, RSM promotes understanding over memorization. Algebra is introduced in elementary school when kids are best at grasping abstract concepts. Fall classes are now enrolling here.

Summer provides a great opportunity for students to learn and advance without the typical pressures of the academic year. RSM offers a variety of courses through its summer enrichment program - for those students looking to get a head start on the academic year, or for those looking for an additional challenge in math. The summer schedule is designed for students of all levels, from Kindergarten to Calculus and SAT preparation.
