14th Street Y Youth Sports


14th Street Y's Youth Sports Program is keeping children active with basketball, flag football, soccer, gymnastics and tumbling, ballet, and more, all in a no-pressure setting. Teens can dive into aquatics or lace up for basketball.

Youth sports classes emphasize skill development in a supportive, non-competitive environment to help enhance your child’s self-esteem. Choose from a variety of basketball clinics and classes, including girls-only hoops, as well as non-contact flag football (in collaboration with the NFL’s Youth Flag Football League), soccer, ballet, tumbling, and gymnastics. Children of all ages and talent levels will have fun while cultivating teamwork, integrity, and leadership skills along the way. Classes are for children ages 4-15.

Aerial Arts NYC- Children and Teen Circus Classes


Youth (Ages 5-12) and Teen Circus Classes are offered each week on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at Aerial Arts NYC. These classes will allow your child the opportunity to explore both ground and aerial circus arts in a non-competitive learning environment. A fast paced format keeps the student moving through a planned lesson, yet allows room for creativity, imagination, and a relaxed flow. Whether in the air or on the ground, this class aims to make exercise fun and promote self esteem while exploring many of the disciplines found under the big top.

Aviator Sports and Events Center - Classes


Located within Brooklyn’s Floyd Bennett Field, Aviator Sports and Events Center is your destination for family fun in NYC. Aviator Sports offers a wide range of instructional and recreational sports classes for athletes of all ages including gymnastics, hockey, basketball, soccer, volleyball, flag football, and figure skating. Classes start as young as Parent and Me programs in gymnastics and soccer.

Aviator offers a variety of levels of programming, from learning to play to competitive travel teams. No matter the child’s skill level, Aviator has a fun and challenging program for them. Aviator's staff knows that if the athletes are not having fun, then they aren’t getting the most out of the program. The coaches are passionate and supportive and strive to build self-esteem, good habits, and positive interactions in a fun and safe environment.

BAX | Brooklyn Arts Exchange - Classes


BAX empowers young artists from tots to teens to tell their own stories and develop their skills in dance, theater, and tumbling. At BAX, students develop improvisational, compositional, and performance skills while working both independently and with collaborators.

Experience self-liberation and joy through Movement of the Afro Diaspora. Discuss and dismantle gender archetypes and learn about drag performance’s rich cultural history and roots in queer performance traditions. And for tots, discover the concepts of body, space, shape, and time while cultivating individual expression using imagery, music, stories, and props in Creative Movement classes.

BAX offers school breaks programming for President's week, spring break, and summer in addition to year-round classes.
