Darien Summer School offers fun and enriching programs for both Darien residents and non-residents ages 3-18. Over 100 different classes and camps are offered, ranging from academics (reading, writing, math, science, and languages) to enrichment (technology, art, sports, music, cooking, film, theater, etc.) to transition programs (intro to kindergarten, elementary-to-middle school/middle-to-high school transition, and college application/essay/test prep).

Classes are taught by certified teachers and coaches and provide an exciting way for children to learn and grow over the summer.

Children of all faith traditions are welcome at Camp Washington, the official camp and retreat center of the Episcopal Church in Connecticut. Campers explore the 300-acre campus, relax, learn, have fun, and foster friendships that last a lifetime. 

Camp Washington strives to provide a place where children and staff grow closer to God as revealed in Jesus Christ through community worship and individual exploration. They strive to heighten enjoyment of nature through education and creativity. They strive to create a community based on teamwork and independence, working both together and as individuals. In this community, they strive to enable each person to recognize their responsibilities as stewards of God's creation.

Camp Washington offers one- and two-week sessions and is licensed by the State of Connecticut.

Calling all first through third graders to come create with Heights Preschool this summmer!  Each week, campers will explore a thematic unit. Students will read, journal, create orginal art, explore though science, and take a break playing outside. There will also be a splash day once a week.

Advantage Jr Tennis Camp

Advantage Junior Tennis Camps offers the best summer ever for beginners to more seasoned players. Campers ages 7 to 17 (at East Side/Roosevelt Island full-day Camp location) and ages 8 to 12 (at West Side/Manhattan Plaza Racquet Club half-day afternoon Camp location) focus on the game with drills, skills and match play under air-conditioned bubbles. At Advantage QuickStart Tennis Camp kids ages 4 to 8 get in the game—and love it. Special kid-sized racquets and slower-bouncing balls make it fun from day one. Specially-trained coaches use drills and games to keep Campers engaged, learning and enjoying in a friendly, non-competitive atmosphere. Dance with The Floor Dance Academy! In addition to year-round classes, The Floor's premiere dance program offers 2 summer dance camps to enhance your child's break from school. The Floor Dance Academy was created by choreographer and educator Jennifer Hamilton, whose work has been featured in over 45 feature films, multiple Broadway productions, and a variety of television shows and commercials.
