Summer at Open House means fun and friends, with flexible schedules for families!

During summer, Open House's dedicated and experienced teachers create a happy mix of indoor and outdoor activities filled with art, music, science, and, of course, water play up on the enclosed rooftop playground. The summer world of oceans and ponds, plant life and animals inspires the themes and projects. For the older groups, one or two field trips are planned for every session. (Children must be 4 years old to take bus trips.) The younger groups may take walking trips to the playground and other neighborhood points of interest.  Classrooms are air-conditioned, and snacks and beverages are provided.

Throughout the year, the heart of Open House’s program is about encouraging each individual child’s social and emotional growth. The teachers and administration strive to create an environment which is informal and relaxed but carefully supportive of students' development.
