Central Rock Gym Kids- A Place Where Kids Move, Learn, and Belong.
At Central Rock Gym, kids put screens down, move their bodies, and take on fun, confidence-building challenges. Climbing is more than exercise, it’s a skill kids develop over time, learning to try, fall safely, try again, and celebrate progress together in a supportive community.
Intro to Climbing for Kids (Free)
This is a fun, welcoming first step into climbing. This one-time free class introduces kids to climbing basics in a low-pressure, encouraging environment. With guidance from trained instructors, kids learn movement, safety, and simple techniques through games and hands-on climbing.
No experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to try. A great starting point for families exploring classes, camps, or open climbing.
Private Climbing for Beginners: your guide to a great first climb.
Private Climbing for Beginners is the easiest way to try climbing — no class, experience, or partner required. A belay-certified staff member stays with you, handling the ropes and offering tips so you can focus on climbing and having fun.
Includes:
Harness and shoe rental
One-on-one or small-group guidance
Rope climbing or bouldering support
Perfect for first-timers, families, friends, or anyone looking for a relaxed, confidence-boosting experience.
Kids Climbing Foundations (Ages 4–12): a confidence-building first climb.
This small-group class helps kids learn how climbing gyms work while safely trying beginner-friendly climbs. Instructors focus on encouragement, basic techniques, and helping every child feel proud of what they accomplish.
Kids learn:
Gym safety and climbing basics
Auto-belays and bouldering
How routes and difficulty levels work
No experience needed — just a love of movement and exploration.
Kids Camps
Camps offer a screen-free space where kids climb, play games, make friends, and learn new skills. Campers leave tired, happy, and excited to come back — often with new friendships that last beyond camp.
Birthday Parties
Kids climb, cheer each other on, and celebrate together while the staff handles the details — making it easy and fun for parents, too.
Family Membership: Climb together. Grow together.
Family Memberships make it easy for families to stay active, unplug, and spend meaningful time together.
