If you've ever been to Philadelphia's Franklin Institute, you surely have seen or even climbed inside of the Giant Heart. Arguably the most popular exhibit in the entire museum, the Giant Heart has been closed for renovations since May of 2024 and it's finally back! Not only did they make improvements to the heart itself, but the entire three room 8,500 square foot exhibit around the heart has been completely redone and it's truly incredible. As someone who grew up visiting the Franklin Institute, Body Odyssey has to be my favorite exhibit.

This December, Westchester Ballet Company returns to Lehman Center for the Performing Arts with its enchanting presentation of the beloved holiday classic, The Nutcracker. The full-length ballet features exquisite choreography, opulent costumes, incredible special effects, and a cast that includes renowned adult guest performers and nearly 100 young dancers from 30 towns across the Westchester area and beyond.

Hermann Park in Houston is one of the city's top family-friendly destinations, but also one of Houston's top parking conundrums. This 445-acre urban oasis, located in the heart of the Museum District, is home to the Houston Zoo and The Commons, which is one of the city’s best playgrounds. Plus, the Zoo hosts popular annual events like Zoo Lights.
