Looking for the best things to do in New Jersey this Halloween weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your list.

It's time to scare up some fun later this week with Halloween festivities! There are plenty of Halloween activities to choose from on Thursday, including Howl-O-Ween at Turtle Back Zoo, which will have treat stations peppered throughout the grounds. At the Downtown Morristown Trick-or-Treat, meanwhile, everyone is invited for some free fun where local businesses will distribute goodies. 

Celebrations continue into the weekend, in honor of Day of the Dead, with activities in Princeton, featuring strolling mariachis and skull decorating, and in Jersey City, with Mexican artists, dance groups and more family fun.

Halloween weekend is finally here! Trick-or-treating falls on Thursday this year, so kids have plenty of opportunities to hit the neighborhood events and then spend the remainder of the weekend celebrating the Day of the Dead with Dia de Los Muertos events in WrigleyvilleMarquette Park, or Naperville.

Wondering where to go this year? Top picks for fun include events in Downers Grove, Lemont, Wicker Park, and Dunning. And don't forget about the Halloween parade along Halsted Street and the Boo-tacular at Chuck E. Cheese!

We're in full spook mode at last, up to our eyeballs in Halloween activities. Our top picks for Halloween proper include the Jackson Heights Halloween Parade and Brooklyn's free fete, BAMBoo! When you're done parading and partying, you'll need this list of NYC's best trick-or-treat neighborhoods so you know where to source the goodies!

Looking for the best things to do in Atlanta this Halloween weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your list for this Halloween weekend! 

Kick off Halloween weekend on Thursday with fun Halloween events and of course, trick-or-treating! On Halloween, march through downtown Newnan for the annual Munchkin Masquerade; head to the Lawrenceville Lawn for Boofest, a fun event complete with a trick-or-treat trail; and enjoy a safe, spooktacular in Acworth with the police force at the popular Safe-O-Ween. The party continues through the weekend at our favorite farms that are wrapping up their fall festivals, including Southern Belle Farm in McDonough and Cagle's Family Farm in Holly Springs.
