World City Center is a preschool and global enrichment center located in the West Adams/Los Angeles area. It offers a unique approach to learning and enrichment that addresses the whole child and is based on principals of educational excellence and cross-cultural exploration. This summer, children in grades *TK-5 can embark on a bilingual journey that explores the rich environment and cultures of the globe! Using a 50:50 bilingual English/Spanish approach, campers gain valuable language skills through fun hands-on experiences. Daily activities include foreign languages, technology, music, dramatic play, art, science, math, history, sports, literature, and global cuisine. Summer Camp at Sugar Hill
July 10-27, 2017 | 8 AM-3 PM

The Sugar Hill Children's Museum of Art & Storytelling, in partnership with the Sugar Hill Museum Preschool, will once again offer a three-week summer camp for children ages 3-8. This year, children will explore the uses of light as a medium to tell stories. All camp activities will take place at Sugar Hill in fully air-conditioned spaces. 

Camp will be held from July 10 to 27 and will run daily from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Breakfast, snack, and lunch will be provided for your child(ren), prepared in the preschool's peanut-free kitchen. The cost of summer camp is $1500 per child with a 10% sibling discount available. Limited need-based scholarships are available. Register today!

The King's College Pre-University Summer School in the USA gives rising juniors and seniors a unique taste of the British college experience while attending classes in the New York metro area. Students choose between two undergraduate classes taught by faculty who are leaders in their fields. They are introduced to the British way of teaching and learning and attend a special session on the British college application process. It is a commuter program and will run from August 7-18 at Brooklyn Friends School.

Entry criteria​: Applicants will need to provide a high school transcript, a personal statement, and a reference letter from their current school.

Fees​: $2,000, which includes tuition, relevant class excursions, and a certificate of attendance.
