Academic Achievers

Academic Achievers is once again offering their very unique Summer KinderPrep Camp. Built around the Common CORE Curriculum and the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) framework, your 4 or 5 year old will learn academic basics as well as higher order thinking, while having fun!

Whether sequencing story elements, cracking the code with phonemic awareness, learning math by making no-bake granola, structural engineering with legos or beginning physics with magnets, our teachers are highly trained and skilled to develop the curriculum around your child's specific interests. Your child's academic kindergarten prep will be the by-product of a joyful summer camp experience!

The program is indoors and outdoors in our Santa Monica play space. We begin with an informal kindergarten readiness assessment of your child and proceed to enrich areas where they are strong, and help them grow in areas that need to be developed. After the 6 week, 2x a week, 2.5 hr camp, you will receive a digital portfolio of your child's summer activities.

KinderPrep Camp will have the same teachers as one-on-one KinderPrep, but with the added element of cooperative play and social awareness. The camp is limited to 6 children per session with 2 fully credentialed kindergarten teachers. Your child will have a ball and will enter kindergarten with self-confidence.

For those who want a more personal approach, we still offer our one-on-one Backyard Summer KinderPrep. The tutor comes to your home with everything your child needs to provide a fun summer of academic enrichment.
