Camp 'Trep

0

Camp 'Trep is a fun day camp that helps students build confidence and resourcefulness and improve problem-solving skills by learning entrepreneurial thinking. Each day, campers learn a new core concept (innovation, creativity, etc.) and play fun games to reinforce what they have learned. Throughout the program, students will work on building a business, impact, or discovery project for 'Trep Tank, a Shark Tank-style contest where each camp group has a chance to win a milestone prize. Students will also get to meet inspiring entrepreneurs from tech, fashion, food, and sports during hosted 'Trep Talks. Camp 'Trep helps prepare students with the creative and critical thinking skills that they will need to thrive throughout the school year!

Citizens of the Stage

0

Mission statement: Citizens of the Stage is a carefully crafted program founded on creating future good citizens. Children use singing, acting, and improvisational theatre games to practice communication skills, identify emotions in themselves and others, and learn how to create something wonderful as an ensemble. The merit-based system helps kids develop self-awareness and a sense of accomplishment as well as cultivating empathy.

Camp activities include singing, dancing, and improvisational type theatre games; experimenting with masks and movement; creating your own characters and using famous characters from popular kid's culture; and just general theatrical merriment! The backbone of the program is rooted in the ideas of good citizenship, empathy, and working together.

Small class sizes, low student/teacher ratios, and experience with special needs children allows Citizens of the Stage to create a personal creative camp for each child.
