Each year, more than 1.5 million visitors flock to the nation's capital to take part in the National Cherry Blossom Festival, a citywide celebration of the pink and white blooms. This year's National Cherry Blossom Festival takes place March 20 – April 13, 2025. Peak bloom is predicted for March 28-31, and you don't have to attend one of the festival events to enjoy the flowers.
