Camp Kehilla, a pioneer in special needs camping for more than 20 years, provides a supportive, engaging environment where children, teens and young adults can form lasting friendships, build social skills and self-esteem. Activities include Red Cross certified swim instruction, adaptive sports, music, drama, arts and crafts as well as weekly field trips. Comprehensive vocational experiences for older campers. Newly built air conditioned sports complex, outdoor fields for all sports, mini-golf course, nature trails, multiple playgrounds and four Olympic-sized swimming pools at the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds. Door-to-door bus transportation is available from Nassau, Suffolk and parts of Queens. Snack provided daily, Kosher, nut-free lunch options available for an additional fee.
