From lectures, classes, workshops, wellness and more, the Mattatuck Museum hosts a variety of public programs for a variety of ages and types of museumgoers. "The Matt" has a regular calendar of kids activities and fun things to do and runs school's out camps and weekend workshops.

Camp Baco for Boys and Camp Che-Na-Wah for Girls is camp at its purest. Two separate camps are offered that are built on a single tradition: the secret to great camp is its people.

Baco & Che-Na-Wah are a community that is special among camps. Every year, 95% of the campers return for another spectacular summer; and new campers receive a warm and special welcome. With their team sports, swimming, tennis, the performing arts, and more, at Camps Baco and Che-Na-Wah, campers have endless opportunities to do what they love and try new things, too.

The Gold Coast Arts Center brings the visual and performing arts to students and audiences. They offer classes, workshops, family activities, film viewings, concerts and more. Aspiring actors can sign up for a two- week Musical Theatre Camp featuring Broadway's greatest showtunes, or the one-week Applause Acting Camp, which teaches public speaking, better stage presence, and memorization skills. Camps are for kids ages 6-14.

Hofstra Summer Camps offers the largest University-based summer camp program on Long Island, providing campers with full access to state of-the-art classrooms, computer and science labs, acres of professional-grade athletic fields, and air-conditioned indoor athletic facilities—including an Olympic-size pool. Door-to-door busing and/or area pickup transportation are available to parts of Long Island and Queens.

Hofstra offers campers entering grades K-12 an unparalleled array of summer camp programs in athletics, arts, fashion design, academics, career discovery, and so much more. A summer experience filled with adventure, enrichment, new experiences, confidence-building, personal development, and—most of all—fun awaits your child!

New York Baseball Academy also operates out of this camp at the turf baseball field and indoor practice facility. Players ages 7 through 18 can choose just one week, or up to 6 weeks of ability level instruction. The program is held Monday - Friday from 9am-4pm runs in July and August.

John W. Engeman Theater's Musical Theater Summer Camp gives every child a chance to learn essential performing skills while spending a fun summer with their peers.

Campers will be immersed in the world of musical theater and given the opportunity to be taught and directed by theater professionals. At the end of each session, they will perform a musical theater production on the professional stage complete with lights, sound, and costumes.
