At the Shorefront Y, campers forge new friendships, engage in daily activities, go on many exciting and educational trips, and learn new skills. The location right on the boardwalk of Brighton Beach allows for lots of play time on the beach and swims in the ocean. While it’s important to Shorefront Y that your child has an amazing experience, safety has always been and remains our number one priority. All beach trips and swims in the large pool are supervised by licensed swim instructors from the Shorefront Y Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy. In addition to making sure each child receives special attention, Shorefront Y aims to create a very easy and positive experience for parents. The Ballet Hispanico Pre-School Summer Dance Camps engage boys and girls ages 3-5 in a balanced exploration of the art and culture of four Latin American countries. Our goal is to introduce children to these diverse cultures while encouraging them to build creative skills in an environment that is safe, accessible, and inclusive. The camps focus on the dances, songs, stories, and rhythms of Latin America through offerings such as creative movement class, the physical interpretation of Latin American children’s literature, and the exploration of musical elements and percussion.
