What is Camp Stuff-Ta-Doo? Camp Stuff-Ta-Doo is a day camp designed for children who will be entering grades 1-6. Campers are grouped by grade and enjoy fun-filled days swimming, playing games, doing arts and crafts, and taking part in all kinds of silly contests. 

Each week there is always a special event at camp, which could include an inflatable water slide, a concert, or even a foam dance party! The staff, made primarily up of college students, keep up the fun and energy all day long while making sure everyone stays safe.  One of the longest running town programs, many children come back year after year.

United Skates of America is an indoor roller skating rink that hosts themed skate events, breakfasts with characters that include photo ops, school break camps and summer camps, and more.

Frost Valley YMCA Camp

Frost Valley YMCA offers day camps as well as sleepaway camps with specialty camps including horse and farm camps, teen adventure camps, and camps for kids with special needs. There are programs for grades 2-7 and also 8-10. 

Activities at the standard day camp include arts and crafts, sports and games, hiking, climbing, swimming, and soaring on the flying squirrel zip line. Bus transportation is available from several locations in Sullivan and Ulster Counties. 

Campers at Frost Valley make their homes in tidy, comfy cabins. Camp Wawayanda is for grades 2-7; Camp Henry Hird is for grades 8-10, and a counselor-in-training program is offered for students entering 11th grade. Sessions last two weeks and are priced on a tiered system.  

North Shore Holiday House

North Shore Holiday House is a non-profit organization offering FREE sleepaway camps to girls ages 7-15. All campers enjoy traditional summer camp activities, including swimming, performing arts, sports, and yoga. Life skills like financial literacy are also offered. To qualify, families must meet the USDA requirements for free or reduced lunch. 

Younger campers, ages 7-11, can attend for 2 weeks; older campers, ages 12-15, are invited to enjoy a 1-week session. 

North Shore Holiday House is a non-profit organization offering free sleep-away summer camp sessions to girls between the ages of 7 and 15. Campers between the ages of 7 and 11 can attend one of our three, two-week sessions and campers between the ages of 12 and 15 can attend one of our two, one-week sessions. Camp is 100% free of charge to campers whose family income meets the USDA requirements for free or reduced lunch. Campers from families whose income level is greater than this requirement will be considered on a case by case basis. 

We offer traditional camp activities including swimming and swim instruction, performing arts, sports and art as well as life skills like yoga, financial literacy, reading and more. We also take campers on field trips throughout their session. Our staff come from a wide range of countries including the United Kingdom, Colombia, Spain, Turkey, Mexico and Poland to name a few.
