Destination Science Camp - Long Island

Destination Science is a fun science day camp for curious kids ages 5 to 11. For over 20 years, Destination Science has focused on STEM learning through science-based activities. Destination Science camp is a great place to experience fun, hands-on science during the summer to encourage year-round learning—with three science stations daily plus games, spirit days, rallies, and all the fun of camp.

  • Superhero Physics Fun Camp: Build a souped-up superhero car and dive into the superpower of science.

Snapology

Snapology offers year-round STEAM camps and workshops for kids 4-14, including classes, camps and workshops. Camp topics include robotics, technology, animation, STEAM, LEGO, K'Nex and themed camps. Their Westbury location is in person, however, Snapology programs can be mobile to fit your camp, school or organization's needs.

Snapology has adapted its curriculum so your child can make their screen time count with engaging and entertaining STEAM enrichment. Enrollment is limited so that children have the opportunity to engage and interact socially.

The Player Progression Academy

Player Progression Academy is the leading youth sports club in the DC and Montgomery County, MD region with over 5,000 players, ages 3 - 18, who participate each year. Its mission is to develop players between the lines and outside them.

PPA's Soccer & Hoops Day Camps combine convenience for parents with excitement for campers. Open to players of all levels, day camps offer a mix of skill development, team competitions, water fun, and more to make sure each camper gets a great sports experience.

You can expect to see a combination of professional PPA coaches along with a slew of PPA CIT's (almost all of whom are former PPA campers). Each week, players in Day Camps are organized into teams for the week where they go through a series of competitions and activities for maximum fun.

Park Shore Country Day Camp is situated in Dix Hills on 15 beautiful acres, centrally located in Suffolk County, and offers extensive programs for children ages 2 to 15. Activities include high-end athletics; aquatics; an Extreme Adventure Program complete with high ropes course, bungee trampoline, 24-foot rock wall, and ATV adventure course; arts & crafts, and performing arts, plus spectacular special events. Park Shore also offers specialty camps: Extreme STEAM Science Kids, Sports Track, and Travel Camp. At Extreme STEAM Science, students will have a core focus on Robotics, Engineering, Life Science, Physical Science, Earth Science & Coding.

Hofstra University Youth Programs

Hofstra offers camps in academics, arts, athetics and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) for grades k-12. Camps are weekly or summer-long sessions. 

Speciality camps (ie. eSports, 3D printing, Minecraft, coding, AI, robotics, video game design, etc.) are for campers entering 2 - 10 grades. For part of the day, campers will attend their chosen programs. and the remainder of the day will involve a one-hour Red Cross Instructional swim program, lunch, and various recreational activities.
