Mommy Poppins Event Calendar Listing Policies

The Mommy Poppins Event Calendar is a curated list of the best local family events used by over 100,000 families each week. We only share high quality events that we feel are enriching and valuable experiences. All events are published at the sole discretion of our editors and no submission is guaranteed publication.

All submissions are moderated by our editors to maintain quality and consistency. Paid listings are moderated first and free listings are moderated on a first-come, first-served basis. We receive a high volume of submissions and it’s possible we will not get to all free listing submissions. We recommend submitting at least one week before your event date.

Before submitting your listing please search to see if your event is already listed. If your event is in our calendar and you would like to upgrade or feature the listing, please use our contact form to reach us. 

 

GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR ALL LISTINGS:

  • Must be appropriate, entertaining, and enriching for the entire family.

  • If it is aimed at a specific age group, it should clearly state the ages.

  • Each listing must be for one distinct event with a specific time, date, name, and location.

  • We do not list events requiring multiple day participation. These go in our directory.

  • You must have the right to publish any submitted copy, photography or graphics.

 

FREE EVENT LISTINGS:
Free listings receive a full page listing with all basic event info and a link to event website. They must meet the following guidelines:

  • Must be a family friendly single day or multi-day event.

  • Can not be a recurring event.

  • Can not be a class, camp, open house, marketing event or cost more than $30 per person.

 

PAID LISTING SUBSCRIPTIONS:
Secure additional benefits for your event with a paid listing subscription. Paid listings can display a photo, ticketing button, a deal or offer, and receive priority moderation. All listings must meet our general guidelines above. The following types of listings can only be published with a paid listing subscription.

  • Recurring or ongoing events, shows or exhibits

  • Trial classes and open houses

  • School break camps and classes

  • Marketing events (main purpose is to bring attention to a business, brand, or product)

  • Events that cost more than $30 per person
