The calendar this weekend is stocked with all kinds of holiday events for families, including oodles of Passover celebrations for kids and families, as well as chances to spot the Easter Bunny and hunt for eggs around town. Families can also give back to the planet by observing Lights Off for Earth Hour on Saturday evening.
If you missed them last weekend, it's your last chance to catch North Cambridge Family Opera's Kids' Court and Boston Ballet's Shades of Sound. Other great performance options for families include a Peter and the Wolf concert in Melrose and the Yo-Yo People in Natick. Finally, the Big Apple Circus: Metamorphosis has arrived. You can find the big top right on Boston's City Hall Plaza. Also on Mommy Poppins Boston this week:
- Kids will love making these cute Pom-Pom Chicks.
- Spring has sprung, and our list of Best Spring Activities with Kids in Boston will help get you and the family out to enjoy the season.
- Little ones can fill their baskets at these Easter Egg Hunts around town.
- Maple Sugar Snow Ice Cream is a treat that keeps on giving this year, so enjoy some while you still can!
- Wondering if your kids will enjoy the ballet? Read Tara's review of Shades of Sound.
Enjoy your weekend and don't forget to check out the full Event Calendar!
