Bushkills Falls, AKA the "Niagara of Pennsylvania", is one of my favorite destinations in the Poconos and Delaware Water Gap area because it offers easy, yet gratifying hikes that everyone in the family can enjoy. The easiest hikes can probably be done in as little as 15 minutes and reward you with stunning waterfall views and there's more fun to be had for families at Bushkill Falls.
There are 8 waterfalls at Bushkill Falls and several trails and bridges bring you up, over and under them for multiple views. A few longer trails bring you through the woods and for some nice mountain views. Kids will be entertained along the hike finding markers along the trail and punching their punch cards with the Map Adventure Program for purchase for $2. We also grabbed the leaf guide in the gift shop and hunted for different kinds of leaves along the way. In season there is a mini golf course as well as paddle boats, fishing, a playground and a small Native American exhibit. Park admission is $11 for adults, $6 for children ages 4-10 and 3 and under are free. Fees for other activities are extra.
