Weekend Fun for Philly Kids Nov 1-2: Last Chance for Halloween Thrills and Apple Festival Fun
Submitted by Kristen Sullivan on
Despite the fact that this weekend marks the first full weekend in November, there are still a few chances to enjoy Halloween fun. Brandywine Zoo's Boo at the Zoo occurs this weekend, and Dutch Wonderland offers its last Happy Hauntings opportunity. The Independence Seaport Museum wraps up its final Ghost Tours of the Haunted USS Olympia, which is sure to send shivers down your spine.
However, if your family is ready to embrace November, the month of thankfulness and family, then what better way to celebrate together than with these family activities from the Mommy Poppins calendar?
Rock out to music from the Billy Jonas Concert at the Mitchell Performing Arts Center in Bryn Athyn, focus on your creative side at the Abington Art Center's Eureka! program, or take part in the apple pie eating contest at the Peddler's Village Apple Festival. No doubt, there is lots of family fun to be had.
