Offering classes for babies as young as one and through adulthood, your family never outgrows the programming at MAFS. MAFS' state of the art facility includes not only a massive main studio but also an ajacent playroom where childcare is offered during adult fitness. No matter if you're looking for singing, dancing, punching, or sweating -- MAFS has the classes for you.

TaeKwonDo Ages 3.5-12 Years:

You are never too young or too old to start learning martial arts. Martial arts students learn their basic motions, their blocking, and training on their forms. Classes are divided by age and are mixed level.

Teen Mixed Martial Arts:

Exclusivley for teens 13-18. These teen class incorporates a variety of martial arts techniques with a supportive environment to build self-confidence and physical preparedness.

Hip Hop Ages 3.5-12 Years:

Join the Playroom's Mr. Kenny for Hip Hop classes. Classes include basic hip hop technique, b-boy skills, gymnastics, and the joy of movement.  

Pre Ballet Ages 3-6:

The joy of ballet begins with Pre-Ballet classes. These classes introduce young children to the fundamentals of classical ballet, focusing on proper body alignment, basic ballet technique and terminology, and musicality. Exposure to dance reinforces important life skills like creativity, discipline, and team participation—all in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment.

Baby Music Classes 0-2 Yeard Old:

Taught by professional singers and musicians with childcare and education experience. Your little one is guaranteed to learn some new things and laugh it up in this rocking class.

Separation Childcare During Adult Fitness:

The days of needing to hire a babysitter just to get your workout in are behind you. Join MAFS for a high intensity cardio kickboxing workout while your child is a window away having their own enrichment experience in the playroom. Please reach out to book childcare and your fitness class in advance, no walk ins for childcare.

MAFS Camps:

MAFS' summer and holiday offerings are full of variety for your family including mini performance camps, TaeKWonDo intensives, and Recreational Day Camps during the summer and on holidays during the school year.

Inspiring Confidence, Excellence and Kindness since 1946, East Woods School is a private pre-K through 8th grade school in Oyster Bay and is a member of and accredited by the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS).  The 46-acre campus is located on the top of a hill with 4 playing fields and 2 gymnasiums, 2 pools and a pond.  Fourth through eighth graders participate on interscholastic sports teams in the fall, winter, and spring. Teams include: soccer, ice hockey, cross country, basketball, baseball, softball, and lacrosse. 

Facilities include 2 science labs, 2 computer labs (3-D printers, X-Carve, Glowforge), dance studio, art studio, wood shop, band room,  1:1 Chromebooks grades 4-8, and Smart Boards, iPads, and laptops in the classrooms. Distinctive Programs include multi-media technology; music and drama productions; fine arts curriculum; student council; overnight field trips for ages 10 and above, after school extended care for nursery and pre-K, and after school enrichment classes for grades kindergarten through fourth, after-care programs, and an extensive summer program.
