Update:  The event scheduled for September 12 is canceled due to poor air quality

LA Parks continues the summer tradition of Parks After Dark with "PAD in Motion"  Streets around select parks are closed off for families to safely walk and ride while maintaining the physical distancing needed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This “open streets” concept leads residents and families along a scenic route around and within their local park. Bikes, scooters, and skateboards are welcome!. Participants are reminded to wear protective equipment as well as a face covering to stay safe.

Parks participating on the following dates are: Athens Park, Loma Alta Park, Amelia Mayberry Park and Franklin D. Roosevelt Park.

Saturday, August 22: 9am - 12noon
Thursday, September 3: 5pm - 8pm
Saturday, September 12: 9am - 12noon
Thursday, September 24: 5pm - 8pm
Saturday, October 3: 9am - 12noon
Thursday, October 15: 5pm - 8pm

PAD in Motion also has dates at Carver & Owens Parks, and at El Cariso, Martin, Obregon & Salazar Parks.
