In conjuction with the Brooklyn Children's Museum, the exhibit "Our City" will appear in pop-up fashion at Industry City in Sunset Park. This interactive art exhibit asks children to consider what it takes to make a healthy, happy neighborhood, while exploring the architecture and diversity of New York City. Families take on the role of an architect and build a tower, tunnel, or neighborhood with Imagination Playground's big blue blocks and by interacting with contemporary art by artists Aisha Cousins, Brooklyn Hi Art Machine (Mildred Beltre and Oasa Duverney), Elizabeth Hamby, James Rojas, and Priscilla Stadler. Museum Educators will facilitate interactive programs for families with children each day, and exhibit materials will be available in English and Spanish.
