Anyone can light a tree, but it takes rocket scientists to light a space capsule!  Columbia Memorial Space Center illuminates its Apollo capsule, its unique tradition to ring in the holiday season.

In addition, tuba players unite forTubaChristmas,  bringing the magic of the season with classic holiday tunes.

The TubaChristmas concert is held from 4:30pm-5:30pm followed by the lighting of the capsule.

The evening also includes hands-on activities where science meets the holidays! Guests can learn how to make their own snow, decorate a capsule, and more.

The ceremony is free to attend, no reservations needed.
