New Exhibit: From Frankenthaler to Warhol: Art of the '60s and '70s at the Heckscher Museum of Art
Kids and adults can head to the museum to appreciate the colorful and iconic artwork created during this exciting era, but will have even more fun with the activities in the galleries.
Multiple Lite Brite stations (the toy was introduced in 1967) and more “create your own” fun will let young artists find their inner flower child. Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, James Rosenquist are among the many artists featured in this new exhibition. This exhibit is on view Wednesday - Friday 10am - 5pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am - 5pm through March 2018.
