Olvera Street hosts its annual celebration of the festive Mexican holiday when families remember their ancestors and the continuity of life.

Festival-goers can enjoy face painting, entertainment, community altars (ofrendas) (on display October 26 through November 2), and a nightly candlelight Novenario Procession (Parade of Living Muertos) at 7pm.

Saturday and Sunday there is entertainment and face painting throughout the day, from 10am-8pm; weekdays entertainment runs from 4pm-8pm. The ofrendas are on display all week. Teatro del Barrio presents La Danza de la Muerte nightly at 6pm.
