This event is being hosted by Lincoln Park Zoo in conjunction with the Chicago Park District and is located in the nature play space at Western Ridge Nature Preserve. Families are invited to explore nature through bird watching, hiking, a family scavenger hunt, and sensory activities with items found in nature such as stumps or seeds. All ages are welcome to this open house style event. Several stations will be set up with the different activities where guests are welcome to spend a few minutes or stay for the duration. Be sure everyone is dressed for the weather. This event goes on rain or shine.
