Get a close-up look at our nation’s founding through the eyes of a Revolutionary War soldier. Teacher and living historian Rob Buccheri is returning to John Jay Homestead to provide a hands-on look at a patriot soldier’s uniform and artillery, and to discuss what life was like for militiamen in New York during the Revolution.

This family-friendly event will be held alongside the Homestead’s weekly Farm Market and is a great opportunity for visitors of all ages to learn more about New York History. The Homestead will be hosting reenactors and historic interpreters on the first Saturday of every month through October.
