Bannerman Island First Tours of 2022
Ever seen the castle on the river and wanted to visit? Here's your chance! The Bannerman Castle Trust starts its 2022 touring & event season out on mysterious and historic Bannerman Island, on the Hudson River. Tours include a scenic cruise to and from the island and a guided walking tour of Bannerman Island, where you'll learn about its storied past.
The first walking tours of the year will take place starting in May. The boat for these tours, the Estuary Steward, departs from the waterfront in Beacon, New York (across from the Metro North train station). Island tours follow all COVID safety protocols, and tours will likely sell out in advance. Please be sure to reserve tickets ahead of time, as tickets often sell out. Tours depart promptly at 11:00am, 12:30pm, 2:00pm and 3:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. The whole experience is approximately 2.5 hours.
