Each summer visitors count the butterflies flying through the forests and fields, collecting valuable data about butterflies in our region. Become a citizen-scientist while learning the life histories of monarchs, swallowtails, cabbage whites, and many more. Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education is keeping a keen eye on our monarchs as they have been in rapid decline over the past few decades. Butterfly watchers of all levels are welcome, especially beginners. The rain date is July 13th.
