Head to Temple University to learn how multiple people work to create a website or app using Git/GitHub. In this workshop, participants explore version control, which is what Git is famous for. Students pull a clone of a web page from a GitHub code repository and work to edit the webpage.

The goal of this workshop is to give each student a sense of ownership over what they create, to highlight the ownership value of Git's distributed model. The students also learn how GitHub allows thousands of people to work on a project together to add new features and easily view changes. Students get to continue to customize their website at home!

No prior technology experience is necessary.
