Getty Center Art & Science Family Festival
- see all dates
The Getty Center's latest family festival celebrates Getty’s PST ART: Art & Science Collide.
At this interactive festival, visitors can explore the intersection of art and science through hands-on projects. Activities include making a suncatcher, creating pictures with the power of the sun, and exploring the medieval idea of the cosmos by making wearable art based on astrological signs.
At the huge interactive globe, guests can imagine seeing Earth from outer space, then add elements to make the world a better place for us all to live.
Performers include Infinite Flow Dance, Low Leaf, Alexey Seliverstov, Living Earth, and Dublab DJ.
Bubblemania and Company leads workshops and gives demonstrations throughout the weekend.
Admission is free; reserve tickets to attend this event,
