The Rockville Science Center is launching its first of a series of Community STEM Days at its storefront location. Each month many STEM organizations in the region will participate in a day that's filled with hands-on learning for all ages. This is an opportunity to really dive into a variety of exhibits and learn about the work these scientists are doing. Kids, teens, and adults will all find something of interest.

October's event will include the following exhibitors (plus more to come!):

  • Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection
  • UMD Cyber-Physical Systems Engineering at USG
  • Engineering for Montgomery County
  • NIH's National  Center for Advancing Translational Sciences
  • Personal Genetics Education & Dialogue (PGED)
  • Potomac Community 4H Club
