Folk tales help us to learn more about the world around us and, at the same time, about ourselves. A bossy rooster funds someone to do his bidding, a mysterious old man makes a magical paper crane, a wise woman rescues her silly helper with too much pasta, and a rabbit who must complete 3 seemingly impossible tasks before the Sky God grants him his wish.

Perfect for children aged 6-8, this program combines reading and hands-on fun. At the end of each session, each child gets to take home the book they've explored!

September 25 - Interrupting Chicken by David Ezra Stein
October 23 - The Paper Crane by Molly Bang
November 20 - Strega Nona by Tomie dePaola
December 18 - Zomo the Rabbit by Gerald McDermott

For ages 6-8 . Registration required
