Puppeteer and fiber artist J Hann leads a workshop exploring the storytelling art of crankie boxes. Derived from the ancient uses of scrolls to illustrate and share epic tales, crankie boxes are constructed from cardboard boxes, dowels, and paper scrolls. Participants build their own crankie box and illustrate a story for their crankie scroll.
