Celebrate National Latinx Heritage month by creating a mythical Alebrije folk art puppet or a pop-up card inspired by the architecture of Old San Juan. Cook with Chef Kelsy Camilo on Saturday or explore break dancing, hip-hop and freestyle with Kid Glyde and the Dynamic Rockers on Sunday!

Alebrije Animal Puppets
Alebrije are ornate Mexican sculptures carved out of wood and decorated with bright paint. Use neon paper to create folk art inspired puppets, then decorate your mythical creature with paint. Saturday & Sunday, September 21 & 22 | 3:00 – 3:45 pm| Ages 5 & younger | Drop-in Pop-up

Neighborhoods – Colorful Old San Juan
Use techniques traditionally used to make pop-up cards to recreate colorful buildings inspired by Old San Juan in Puerto Rico

Victor “Kid Glyde” Alicea and his Dynamic Rockers crew share the art of breaking, hip-hop, and freestyle. Learn some signature moves and team up for a mini-break dancing competition.
