The Montessori School of New York International
In a lovingly, thoughtfully prepared environment, children explore academic dimensions at their own pace and interest level, helping them grow in confidence, self-esteem and independence. Classes are equipped with imported, didactic Montessori materials that encourage the absorption of concepts through play, leading children to become well-rounded and confident. Program includes Science, Music, Foreign Language, Musical Theatre, Tennis, Swimming, Dance, Yoga, and Chess. Children do extremely well academically, and are prepared for admission to gifted programs.
This summer, campers experience a unique blend of summer activities and academics. Developed around biweekly themes, children can enjoy arts and crafts, dance, cooking, Yoga, martial arts, gymnastics, tennis, swimming and field trips. Older campers also experience musical theatre, and learn chess. Since camp is staffed by the school's teachers, children can also continue with academics, to review the year or to get ahead. Tutoring available to prepare for admission to gifted programs, or for a head start on the upcoming year. Spaces are limited - registering now.
