Shakespeare by the Sea presents two nights of free professionally-crafted Shakespeare at Cesar Chavez Park.
First up is Henry V. Shakespeare’s most patriotic and inspiring play tells of a young King Henry V who seeks to unite his beloved England.
The following night audiences can revel in The Comedy of Errors, a classic Shakespearean romp of mistaken identity-with mischief and mayhem galore.
Saturday, July 20 : Henry V
Sunday, July 21: The Comedy of Errors
The venue is a quaint amphitheater with stepped grassy areas. It tends to be hot at the beginning of the evening, but then cools off and you’ll need a sweatshirt.
