Open Door Days welcomes kids and families to explore the history of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and how the opera house is run today, from the conductor in the orchestra pit to the supertitles and beyond.

Musical storytellers lead the audience on a journey through the fantastical world of opera set to iconic arias and scenes by composers including Mozart, Puccini, and Bizet.

The program is designed for children 3 to 9 years old (but we welcome all ages).  All children, regardless of age, must have a ticket to attend the performance.
