Enjoy a slice of happiness (and unlimited slices of watermelon!) at the California Watermelon Festival. 

Attractions include a Kids Zone, unique foods, carnival rides, and hilarious contests. Competitions include a watermelon costume contest, a watermelon relay, a watermelon seed spitting contest, a watermelon carving contest, and more.

For two days, the San Fernando Valley honors its heritage as a premier producer of juicy and delectable watermelons. In addition to the events above, the festival will feature live grafitti art, a petting zoo, a break dancing show, a buterfly pavilion, and more. 

All the fun takes place on the soccer fields. 

Carnival rides pricing is 10 rides for $30. This deal has to be purchased online in advance and is not available at the festival.
