DiDa (District Dance) is a high-quality dance training program for kids in Lower Manhattan. Its purpose is to turn amazing, tiny humans into amazing, big humans (who also happen to be incredible dancers).
Dida's director/owner, Jacki Ford, knows dance and dance education well. She trained in an elite studio (founded by her mom) where Jacki and her classmates went on to dance professionally on Broadway, film, TV, with recording artists, and in companies across the globe. Not only does Jacki bring her unparalleled professional experience (including a decade as a Radio City Rockette) and teaching know-how as faculty for Pace University's Commercial Dance Program; most importantly, she's a mom of three, a member of the downtown community, and passionate about engaging kids with positive life skills through high-quality dance instruction.
DiDa offers ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and tumbling classes to boys and girls ages 3 through 7.
