The Discovery Museum is THE place to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing! Admission will be $5 per person, thanks to Museum sponsors NASA Connecticut Space Grant Consortium and Pitney Bowes. (Members and military families always get free admission!)

Special activities throughout the day, include

– Moon rock sample viewing
– Rocket launches
– Stomp rockets
– Planetarium shows
– Science on a Sphere shows
– Historical video of Apollo 11 landing
– Live streaming of NASA celebrations across the country
– Space-themed mini golf course installed throughout the museum (Note: there will be an added charge for mini golf — $5 for adults and $3 for children)
