Sample Indigenous Food with Renown Indigenous Chef, Sherry Pocknett, of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe of Cape Cod, MA. Sample Journey Cakes and Cranberry Tea to be provided to all guests (while supplies last). Also on site will be Chef Sherry’s food stand, offering customers a variety of Indigenous foods, plus beverages for purchase.
Learn about birds of prey with Wingmasters from 11:00am-12:00pm. Did you know that Native Americans revered birds of prey for their majestic appearance as well as for their hunting prowess?
Crafts displayed at this program range from shields and headdresses to clothing and jewelry. Beadwork, quillwork and basketry are showcased as well.
